Security

Security is tight in StoreReport. We have a two stage login process in StoreReport.

Do not use the same password for Skubana and StoreReport.

To see your store data you must be logged into Skubana. All security is provided by Skubana, login is done on Skubana login page. If you are already logged in Skubana it will not ask you for Skubana password.

StoreReport user data is used only for saving your custom Data Grid layouts. No other data is stored on our servers and tied to your account. No sensitive data can be obtained by only logging into StoreReport. We could go without any login to StoreReport but the availability of saving your Data

Grid layout is why we choose to have users section in our application. This also allows some more user customization to be added in future.

StoreReport reads data only. It does not save any changes to your Skubana data. There is not one WRITE method applied. We choose this path because we didn`t want to get in issues that some other plugins have. Issues like changing data to wrong values in Skubana, making them untraceable later to fix. Ability to save your data locally, change it locally and build reports on your end without making any data wrong on Skubana is great addition to this tool.
